a) by plane from Ljubljana airport:
- best value, if you arrive solo: Taxi Laguna
- if you are 2 or more, you can wtsp in advance Mr. Zlate (+38651856889) and tell him my name (Gunel). He will charge you a fair rate, substatially lower than on-the-spot tariff at the airport. I don't get any commission, I just help him run the business. If he is not available, the next most economical option is: Taxi Metro
b) by plane from other nearby airports (Venice, Trieste, Zagreb):
- if you are IN TRANSIT through Slovenia, then you can use Goopti
- if Slovenia is your FINAL DESTINATION and you just plan to land on more economical airports in the region, then it might be worth renting a car there and drive into Slovenia. In Ljubljana you will not need a car, but you will need it for the rest of the attractions around.
If you arrive by other public transport:
- Train: don't use trains unless you really must. They are comfortable, but slow and infrequent.
- Bus from the neighboring countries, try with:

- FLIXBUS
